About us
Eric Allan Thoman is born in Colorado and was raised in Paris, France where he learned his trade as a master craftsman in upholstery. He has worked for the finest workshop in Europe, for Versailles and Fontainebleau, in the Middle East, the Saudi Arabian Royal Family, and Bahrain.
His wife, Véronique, who is also an upholster, has a vast experience in the world of fine soft furnishings such as draperies, bed treatments... working in France, England and Luxembourg before she met her husband in Morocco re-upholstering antique furniture for the Royal Palace of Marrakech.
Four years ago, they came back to the United States on the East coast to set up a workshop specializing in Wall Upholstery. They create beautiful, impressive walls in your home using highly innovative, unique technology. Since then, as a company they have established a significant client base. In order to meet the needs of they growing clientele, they recently relocated with their main office based in Texas.
Upholstering unique pieces of furniture and antiques is VE Thoman's second specialty. Eric and Véronique use the same traditional techniques and materials used since the mid 1800. Step by step, stitch by stitch, the furniture is created as it was centuries ago !
Not only, they upholster walls but also make furniture for small dogs. Each piece is completely custom upholstered with the client's own fabric. The collection includes 5 models is presented in the dog house section. Fun project...
